# CRED Token Utility

**CRED** is the native utility token powering the **Credia Layer** ecosystem. It serves as the foundation for platform access, user incentives, ecosystem growth, and decentralized governance. Designed for long-term sustainability, CRED ensures alignment between users, contributors, and institutional partners across the AI-driven trading network.

#### 1. Platform Access & Subscriptions

CRED functions as the key to unlock advanced features within the Credia Layer platform:

* **AI Trading Intelligence:** Access real-time sentiment heatmaps, token rankings, and sector performance analytics.
* **Pro Terminal Features:** Users can use CRED to subscribe to premium tiers and enable multi-agent strategy generation.
* **Discounted Payments:** Payments made in CRED receive discounts compared to stablecoin payments, incentivizing token circulation.

#### 2. Incentives & Rewards

CRED fuels the ecosystem’s incentive engine by rewarding users for contributions and engagement:

* **Signal Contributions:** Users who provide accurate sentiment data or participate in prediction events earn CRED rewards.
* **Community Engagement:** Campaigns, referrals, and task completions are rewarded with CRED.
* **Governance Participation:** Active DAO participants and validators receive staking rewards in CRED.
